What is Helicobacter pylori?

Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacterium that causes chronic inflammation of the inner lining of the stomach (gastritis). This bacterium is the most common cause of ulcers worldwide. H. pylori infection is most likely acquired by ingesting contaminated food and water and through person to person contact. Human infection with H. pylori is common. It may be the most common infection in the world.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that approximately two-thirds of the world's population harbors the bacterium. Studies have shown that the infection is directly related to the development of stomach and duodenal ulcers, and it is likely that it may be related to cancers involving the stomach. There are several diagnostic tests available, and effective treatment can prevent the recurrence of ulcers and perhaps the development of cancer.

It is possible to be infected with H. Pylori and have no symptoms, however there are a wide array of symptoms caused by the infection. They include:

  • Abdominal Pain
  • Acid reflux / Heartburn
  • Anemia
  • Bad Breath
  • Chest Pain
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Gastritis
  • Nausea & Vomiting
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Chronic Fatigue / Low Energy
  • Headaches / Migraines
  • PMS
  • Sinus Problems
  • Skin problems such as Rosacea, Hives, etc.
  • Sleep Problems
  • Weight Gain/Weight loss
  • Autoimmune diseases

  • Heart Disease
  • Osteoporosis
  • Ulcers

We have found that Morinda Supreme (Noni) and/or Melia Supreme (Neem) may eradicate H. pylori, as well as relieve the heartburn caused by H. pylori after just a few days. Poultry and eggs may be a source of H. Pylori infections and may need to be avoided in recurrent cases.
